“Holistic” (or integrative) veterinary medicine is the combination of conventional (modern) and alternative medicine. Holistic medicine aims to understand everything about the patient (physical state, mental state, environment, social life, history); seeking to treat the patient over treating the disease. Through proper nutrition, daily exercise, timely veterinary visits, avoidance of chemical toxins, and minimization of emotional stress; the body’s own immune system strengthens, enabling it to heal and fortify itself against possible diseases.
We treat each pet patient as an individual, prescribing only what he or she needs. Our holistic veterinarians are trained in many different modalities such as chiropractic adjustments, acupuncture, diet consultation, natural herbal supplements, essential oils, ozone treatments, titer testing, and homeopathic remedies. We recommend regular check-ups and blood tests to help us keep your pet on track and in balance.
We see dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles at our clinic and are available for house calls and telehealth.
