Veterinarian

Dr. Beth Hirsch is a veterinarian certified in animal chiropractic (AVCA) and acupuncture (CVA) who is very passionate about offering holistic treatment options for her patients.

Her goal is to find and address the root problems of disease and offer individualized holistically focused patient care. The first over 10 years of her veterinary career was focused on equine medicine, mainly treating horses and alpacas.  She joined Holistic Pet Care in January of 2019 due to a desire to focus solely on holistic veterinary medicine, with an emphasis on hands-on chiropractic care.

She has a Bachelor of Medicine degree in Equine Science/Pre-veterinary Medicine from Otterbein College, Ohio. Graduated veterinary school at Ohio State University in 2008. Completed a 1 year internship at a lameness/sports horse practice and finished her certification in acupuncture at the Chi Institute in 2009. She became certified in AVCA chiropractic adjustment in 2015.

Her graduate education started with an Equine Science/Pre-veterinary Medicine Bachelor of Science degree at Otterbein College in Ohio. She graduated from veterinary school at The Ohio State University in 2008. She then moved to New Jersey in 2009 after completion of a year-long internship at a lameness/sports horse practice in Illinois, finished a certification in acupuncture through the Chi Institute in 2009, and in 2014 began her chiropractic journey with Animal Chiropractic Education Source in Texas. She completed her coursework and became AVCA certified in 2015. She then moved to New Jersey and worked in a general ambulatory equine/camelid practice, eventually purchasing it. She added canine integrative veterinary services following her training and AVCA chiropractic certification.

She enjoys working with clients on creating a management plan to optimize health and wellness through an individualized holistic approach.

She currently resides in New Jersey with her husband Ray and three fluffy therapists - their Ragdoll cats.   She enjoys knitting, needle felting, and numerous other creative outlets when she finds time outside of work, and especially enjoys exploring learning about metaphysical aspects of crystals.
