We are a well-established, high-quality integrative veterinary practice and we boast about our veterinarian owned anti-corporate practice culture. We are adding a receptionist to our team. This role is viewed as the critical first point of contact for our clients and patients. The warm, efficient, and professional manner of our receptionist is critical to building the trust needed for healing and preventative care.

We plan to expand our office to include an emergency 24/7 operation together with our integrative veterinary practice by this spring. Join us as we grow our Practice!

Here is the experience you will bring to the job:

• Two to three years minimum receptionist and customer service experience, preferably in a veterinary or medical office.
  
• Front Desk experience in a busy office where patient care is the primary focus!
• Computer knowledge, willing to learn new software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are so important!
• Ability to multitask, managing several phone lines ringing.
• A can-do attitude in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional telephone communication capability
• Outgoing personality
• A caring, compassionate attitude
• Team focused willingness to ask, “How may I help” both clients and colleagues?
• High school graduate or equivalency is required

Mon 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
Tue 8:30 am - 8:30 pm
Wed 8:30 am - 8:30 pm
Thu 8:30 am - 8:30 pm
Fri 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
Sat 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
Sun Closed

Once we open our 24/7 emergency practice in Whippany, we’ll be hiring receptionists to staff around the clock. As of now, Receptionists work a 40 hour work per week flexible from 8:30-5:30; work one or two evenings and alternating Saturdays.
