Veterinarian

Dr. Beth Hirsch is a veterinarian certified in animal chiropractic (AVCA) and acupuncture (CVA) who is very passionate about offering holistic treatment options for her patients. She has been an equine veterinarian for over 10 years. Since introducing small animal and equine chiropractic services to her practice 4 years ago, she has now chosen to focus solely on holistic veterinary medicine, with an emphasis on hands-on chiropractic care. Her graduate education started with an Equine Science/Pre-veterinary Medicine Bachelor of Science degree at Otterbein College in Ohio. She graduated from veterinary school at The Ohio State University in 2008. She then moved to New Jersey in 2009 after completion of a year-long internship at a lameness/sports horse practice in Illinois, finished a certification in acupuncture through the Chi Institute in 2009, and in 2014 began her chiropractic journey with Animal Chiropractic Education Source in Texas. She completed her coursework and became AVCA certified in 2015. She then moved to New Jersey and worked in a general ambulatory equine/camelid practice, eventually purchasing it. She added canine integrative veterinary services following her training and AVCA chiropractic certification. Dr.Hirsch has been continually amazed by the power of the body to heal itself with some support and help especially via chiropractic. During this time she realized her heart was not in the western veterinary medicine approach and she chose to solely focus on holistic veterinary care. She is excited to have joined our team and is enjoying working with clients on creating a management plan to optimize health and wellness through a holistic approach. The tools she reaches for most frequently for her patients include chiropractic, functional nail trimming, acupuncture, and other Chinese modalities, animalEO essential oils, and diet. BEMER therapy is another modality she is excited to be able to offer. She currently resides in New Jersey with her fiance Ray, 3 ragdoll cats, a French Bulldog, a couple of Australian Whites tree frogs and numerous fish.
